Item Description
1-7/8" litho w/covered tin back and bar pin.  Designed like a baseball with accents for the stitching against gray bkg. although entire button has a tan tone to it due to nature of the thin layer of gloss varnish as made. Walker photo portrait at top center. During his fifteen-year career he played with the Detroit Tigers, Chicago White Sox, Washington Senators, Cleveland Indians and Cincinnati Reds. 1937, in his last year with the Tigers, he was an All-Star (he won a World Series with them in 1935). Lt. scattered wear/aging but free of significant chips and scratches which is quite unusual for a large litho. Fine.
