Item Description
2x3.25". One of several regional advertisers to use this 200-card set as a promotional medium was this Chicago department store. The American Card Catalog listed these 2x3.25" bw cards as H801-8. Earl Hamilton pitched a no-hitter against Detroit on Aug. 30, 1912, becoming the first player to pitch a no-hitter w/o recording a strikeout. Hamilton played in MLB for the St. Louis Browns, Detroit Tigers, Pittsburgh Pirates, and the Philadelphia Phillies from 1911 to 1924.
