1.75" dia. No maker. Shown in St. Louis Browns cap, he served as the team's player-manager 1952-53 after taking over for Rogers Hornsby (see companion button in this auction). Known as "Mr. Shortstop", he was an eight-time All-Star and three-time World Series champ. NL MVP in 1944. Member of the St. Louis Cardinals Hall Of Fame.
