Item Description
3" dia. No maker. Unusual design with spring clip on back rather than a pin. Shown in Kansas City Royals cap, he played for the team 1969-73. Piniella was selected by the Seattle Pilots in the 1968 expansion draft in October, but was traded after spring training on April 1 to the Kansas City Royals (founded as an expansion franchise in 1969).
