Item Description
At 1-5/8"x1-7/8" this is oversized for a one-piece brass shell frame. Reverse has soldered vertical 1.25" stickpin and a pair of brass tabs holding the single rectangular cardboard in position. On the front the photos appear as 7/16" squares framed in brass squares. Neatly stylized shield design topped by spread-wing eagle. Only light dust traces on the photos. Nice golden brass color. Only example we've seen, although there is a Harrison/Reid 1892 version as Hake #3227. See the book to appreciate the size scale compared to other shells. Exc.
