Item Description
This is a big 4" dia., flat and heavy (tin front/steel back) car attachment. Reverse metal tab is designed to bend down with a bolt (supplied by owner) going through a small slot for attachment, typically to a bumper or license plate frame. Curl edge of the tin reads "Thomas E. Burns 422 So. Hoyne, Chicago Seeley 6500" This is the only example we've seen and it came to us from the estate of a Green Duck Co.  employee in Chicago, active at time of 1933 World's Fair, although the Green Duck name does not appear on this. We estimate c, 1933-1935. The high gloss paint is missing about a dozen pinpoints on order of 1/32" to 1/16". NM.
