Item Description
These three badges are from the estate of a Green Duck, Chicago employee who was with the company at the time of the expo 1933-34 and had an employee pass to the fairgrounds. First is an employee badge with serial 13541. Embossed silvered brass 2.25" tall. Believe our first in red but we've offered in green and blue. Second, our first seen, also silvered brass names the expo plus "1934 Chicago/5199/Guide". This has brass screw and threaded wheel on reverse for use on a hat. Last, stamped in black enamel paint on silvered brass, is a 1-3/16" badge with horizontal pin on back. This is serial "1111". The Enchanted Island was a five acre special area for children- in fact, parents could leave the kids there and go off on their own. It was filled with story book characters and displays such as those from Wizard of Oz (years before the movie)  and it hosted, in 1934, the Buck Rogers 25th Century Show. All three are NM to Mint.
