Item Description
1.25", no maker and the ribbon joining button to "Made In Germany" tin ball is replaced. The 1925 Pittsburgh Pirates ball club won the National League pennant with a final record of 95-58 under future Hall of Fame manager Bill McKechnie. The team's offense was led that season by the future Hall of Fame trio of Max Carey, Kiki Cuyler and Pie Traynor. Pittsburgh would go on to win the 1925 World Series in seven exciting games over the Washington Senators. Button has all over light age marks. Still glossy. Fine. Paul Muchinsky Collection.
