Item Description
Exceptional doll which is the smaller of two sizes. 12.25" tall to the top of Donald Duck's head, 15" tall to the top of his fuzzy hat. The larger size is 16.5" to the top of his head. c. 1938. Doll is dressed in felt outfit w/brass buttons, braid accent, replaced rubber belt w/custom made buckle and original tall plush hat w/braid chin strap. Oilcloth eyes and felt tail. Original wood baton is missing. Felt jacket has scattered fading (more noticeable on back) and white areas of doll have aged. Jacket shows some scattered wear and has neat repair to 1/8" hole by brass button. Two small pins secure front of jacket. Fine. Scarce.
