Item Description
See Practical Pig and Big Bad Wolf pull toy, previous item. Offered her is 4.25x17.75x11" tall painted jigsawed wood pull toy made in Spain exclusively for the Spanish market (no similar toys were made in any other countries), 1930s. Toy depicts large bear biting the back of Little Hiawatha's pants as Hiawatha reaches for his bow and arrows. As toy is pulled along, bear's head lifts and Hiawatha stands up. Missing pull string. Scattered paint wear, w/moderate flaking to base and edge of wooden wheels from use. Hiawatha is missing one foot and has loose leg as result. VG/Fine overall, and side w/complete leg/foot still displays nicely. Rare and first we've seen in our 54 years. A true Disneyana rarity.
