Item Description
6.5x10x4" deep illustrated cardboard box w/die-cut display lid contains 17 of 18 unused complete slim inner boxes of adhesive bandages, each box containing 36 bandages. Forest City Products, Inc. 1950s. Both display box and inner bandage boxes feature repeated Howdy Doody portraits and display box also features portraits of Clarabell, Princess, Dilly Dally and Mr. Bluster. These portraits are repeated on back of inner boxes along w/additional Flub-A-Dub portrait. Display box lid has been punched as intended and has some wear at edges w/some creases. Fine/VF overall. Inner boxes open w/top/bottom flaps and we have removed some example bandage packs as well as four of the "Colorful Pictures Inside" as mentioned on interior boxes. As every box was not opened, we are unsure if there are additional different pictures inside or just duplicates of the four shown. Inner boxes are NM as packaged. Rare and first we've seen of this store display box.
