Item Description
Two separate artboards w/assembled size of 18x20.5" featuring India ink original art by Tillie The Toiler creator Russ Westover. Art is for Feb. 17, 1929 and features 12 panels and features Tillie and Mac arguing over bad check, w/Mr Whipple stepping to cover cost only to be embarrassed by overdrawing his account and having to have Mac cover for him. Westover has signed last panel. Second to last panel has King Features Syndicate copyright strip. Top strip has 2x6" area of faint moisture staining and 1" tear w/tape repair at top of second panel. Margins have scattered staining and dust soiling. Art remains clean for the most part. Fine overall. Early Tillie Sunday.
