Item Description
10.5x15.75" artboard features pen and ink original art by José Luis García-Lopéz, inked by Dan Adkins/Frank Chiaramonte for World's Finest #255, published by DC Comics Nov. 1978. Page 22 features six panels and is from last page in story, showing Batman discussing the defeat of the Native American Bat-God Gitchka by the youngest Wainwright donning ceremonial Bat-Man costume. Batman is seen in four panels and Superman is seen in his Clark Kent alter ego in last panel. Of note, first panel features image of barn decorated w/Native American swastikas used to ward off evil. Line of text in last panel has been cut out and replaced (taped on back). Top margin has inked title and issue/page numbers. Bottom left has been signed in blue ink by García-Lopéz. Back has DC copyright stamp. Art remains clean and Exc.
