Item Description
Original cardboard box contains 16" long hard plastic train w/locomotive that is part ship and part airplane/helicopter and has three circus cage cars (each w/different plastic animal inside). Plasticraft, 1950s. Box features Howdy Doody character figures on two sides designed to be cut out and displayed. Comes w/4x17.25" die-cut cardboard insert designed like train track. Box is complete w/even aging and grease pencil price on one end flap. Small spot of staining between cut-out figures of Princess and Dilly Dally. Some creases to bottom sides of insert, but o/w box is VF. Air-O-Doodle engine is complete w/spinning helicopter blades and NM. Rare detailed set and even rarer w/uncut box. Comes w/22.5" long screen-printed "Howdy Doody" pennant showing Howdy, Clarabell, Flub-A-Dub, Dilly Dally and Mr. Bluster riding Air-O-Doodle. 1950s. Evenly aged w/.5x1" area of staining along top center edge. Complete w/felt streamers. VF. Rare and first we've seen in our 54 years.
