Item Description
3.25x4-7/8x2" deep tin litho bank has full body image of Mickey Mouse w/stack of coins, inserting a gold sovereign w/Britain's King George V on it, dating bank to early 1930s to 1936. Manufactured by Alex Harvey & Sons Ltd. of Auckland, New Zealand as noted by back seam, along w/"Copyright Walt Disney Ent." text. Back also features full body images of Horace Horsecollar (who carries bag of money) and Clarabelle Cow (who holds coin). Top of bank has shallow concave dent and aging w/trace oxidation. Top rim edge has some scattered spots of bare metal and bottom of seam area on back has shallow dent. Still displays Fine overall. Rare and just the second we've offered in our 54 years (the last - in similar condition - sold for $1,644).
