Item Description
4-5/8x6-5/8" card is March of Dimes premium offered in 1944. Card features nice full body image of Superman w/facsimile signature/inscription reading "Sincerely, Superman." This is variety w/blank postcard back w/lines provided for address (which have been neatly filled out in ink). Back bears postal mark. Typically seen promotional text thanking recipient for contribution to March Of Dimes in their fight against Infantile Paralysis on back. Card has scattered dust soiling and lt. handling wear. Couple small spots of staining at upper left corner over Superman's shoulder. Colors o/w remain bold and bright. Fine overall. March of Dimes - Infantile Paralysis cards were also issued for Batman and Wonder Woman and all are rare. Dan Makara Collection.
