7/8x2x3-1/2" Papier-Mâché. c. 1853. Full color portrait w/arching gold text above. Minor wear to text and crazing as typical. Otherwise only light handling wear. VF. Material for Pierce is extremely rare and this is the only example we've encountered in our 54 years of this outstanding snuff box. A significant addition to even the most advanced collections.
