Item Description
Three Craftint artboards measuring approx. 11.5x16.5" feature pen and ink original art by Dennis Ellefson, published in DRAG Cartoons #14 in 1965. Art is for complete three-page Ollie Ollie OverHead story, noted as "DRAG Cartoons Answer To Bob Dylan!" Art features Ollie Overhead watching drag racers, noticing that the racers receive attention from female fans. He finds his way into a dragster and is instantly hired when he emerges, only to appear quite rattled and decline the offer. Bottom left of each artboard has inked page number and "Drag/Drag Toons #14" notation. Each artboard has printer job stamp at lower right w/ink job information. First artboard has uneven bottom margin trim while other two has uneven trims to left and bottom margins. Staple/pin holes at top left and top center of first two artboards, w/third artboard having staple hole at top left. Artboards have some lt. aging but art remains clean and Exc.
