Item Description
18x29" heavy artboard w/attached overlay (w/attached Pete Millar business card) has 13.75x24" sheet of vellum attached at center. Vellum features full color mixed media preliminary art for Romstar's Tiger-Heli war cabinet arcade game marquee. Tiger-Heli was manufactured in Japan by Taito and by Romstar in the US in 1985. This preliminary art by Pete Millar features the Tiger-Heli attack helicopter blazing into battle against tanks, military armaments and even battleships offshore. Of note, a military train can be seen being derailed at right. Art appears more detailed and colorful than on final version of the cabinet marquee. Handwritten coloring notes at upper left. Artboard has additional vellum overlay w/handwritten editorial notations. Artboard and overlay show some scattered handling/corner tip wear but art remains bright, clean and Exc. Interesting insight into the production of this classic 1980s arcade game. From the Archives of Publisher Pete Millar.
