Item Description
Pair of all original art and hand-assembled premium prototypes measuring 5.5x6.75" and 4.5x5". 1950s. Prototypes depict Elmer Fudd and Dagwood and each features face template w/die-cut eye holes and mouth. Each has three inner spinning discs, allowing user to change each eye individually (featuring eyes looking different directions, winking, black eye, etc.) and switching mouths. Elmer Fudd has been fully painted and is marked "S-153" on back in ink. Exc. Dagwood has been rendered in pencil and ink and has handwritten "Dial A Smile" name at top w/some handwritten notes at left. Bottom is also marked "S-153" in ink. Evenly aged w/some scattered wear. VF. Unique pair. From the archives of premium creators Sam & Gordon Gold and comes with LOA.
