Item Description
8x20.25" stiff artboard has mixed media original art for punch-out premium mask No. 4 of series of four that were issued as Post's "Sugar Crisp" cereal box sleeves. 1950s. Art features main mask images as well as art for punch-out accessory parts. Artboard has printer's marks/labels and pin holes at corners and along margins. Art remains bright and clean. Exc. Comes w/pair of prototype cardstock sleeves w/original art nose on one and attached production mask pieces. Hand-lettered text notes this was for proposed use w/packages of Deran's Maple Walnut Candy Bars and generic Chocolate Chip Cookies. Some lt. scattered wear but VF/Exc. overall. Comes w/4.5x18" cardstock sleeve w/complete parts for this mask, all parts remain unpunched. Unused file copy. NM. Exceptional, one-of-a-kind lot for this produced premium mask, showing the various stages of production through to the final premium. From the archives of premium creators Sam & Gordon Gold and comes with LOA.
