Item Description
1" w/St. Louis Button Co. back paper. Cartoon of "GOP" elephant as a tea pot w/US Capitol dome for a lid. Off center but otherwise almost no surface wear even in reflected light. NM as made. The Tea Pot Dome scandal made excellent fodder for button designers in 1924 and this is among the most infrequently offered of those designs. John Pendergrass Collection.
