Item Description
Original printing 27x41" teaser poster for 1983 film originally titled Revenge Of The Jedi, until director George Lucas realized revenge was a concept not in tune w/the Jedi code, changing it to Return Of The Jedi for the film's theatrical release. Two versions of this poster were printed, one w/May 25, 1983 date and one undated as seen in the example offered here. Poster was folded and has since been linen-mounted w/scattered restoration to fold lines/fold crease intersections. Scattered handling wear w/handling crease on the eye of Darth Vader's helmet and creases to dark bottom portion being most noticeable. Fine overall.
