Item Description
22x32" stiff paper poster features wonderful art by Celia Strain showing C-3PO standing before radio microphone and wearing headset as space battle takes place around him and in bkg. Poster was released in support of the 13-episode serialized radio version of Star Wars, which expanded on the story w/many extra scenes and utilizing the film's distinctive sound effects and musical score. Mark Hamill and Anthony Daniels recreated their respective roles as Luke Skywalker and C-3PO. Originally broadcast on NPR in 1981, this poster uses the artwork utilized in the original NPR poster to advertise HighBridge Audio's release of the Star Wars radio drama on cassette and CD in 1993. Poster shows moderate handling wear along left margin w/creases and less wear along right margin. Fine.
