Item Description
Large 20.5x24.5x6" deep box contains components used to assemble remote control Mothra (Larva) model by Tokyo Marui Co., Ltd. Released in Japan for the Japanese market, 1994. Box features image of larval Mothra w/classic image of Godzilla 1954 overlooking (see Godzilla R/C Marui model, previous item) and features mostly Japanese text, listing actions in English. These include forward/left/right movement, moving head as well as Mothra's scream and opening/closing jaws that spout "silk" (via included cans of silly string-like material). Box also features two images of larval Mothra from Godzilla movies as well as inner workings of model and remote control. Gold foil "Godzilla" sticker present at upper left corner of lid. Box is complete with cardboard/Styrofoam inserts and shows just some scattered wear to lid. VF overall. Contents appear complete and include detailed pliable rubber Mothra Larva skin, inner plastic/metal jointed mechanism w/battery-powered motor and gears and handheld remote control. Inner workings have had outer "skin" applied and one of the two included cans of spray (which features Mothra Larva images and silver foil "Godzilla" stickers) has been installed in model. Four small glossy spots on back of model. Untested but Exc. for display. Also comes w/illustrated instruction booklet and Japanese sheet. A must for any Godzilla collection.
