Item Description
8.25x8-7/8"store display card for series of fragile vacuform plastic Mad Buttons w/cardboard pinback by H. Fishlove & Co., ©1961 M. Glass. Card notes some uses for these novelty items - "Wear On Sweaters, Coats, Shirts - Paste On Car Door, Windshield, Note Book, Etc." Circle for pricing remains unused. Card has attached "Meet My Mummy" button w/mummy face and bottom has small staple holes for three other buttons. Card shows moderate handling wear w/creases and piece of clear tape at upper left. Spot of moisture staining at bottom. Fine overall. Mummy button has some staining and small area of denting around nose. Fine. Comes w/four other buttons, including - "ZomBeatnik" w/half skull-faced beatnik, "I Vant To Be Alone With You!" w/female vampire, "Frank N' Stein" w/Frankenstein Monster face and beer stein and "Brother, Could You Spare A Little Blood?" w/bloodshot vampire face. 1/8" crack to female vampire's cheek and .25" crack to Frankenstein's cheek and small stain and dent to stein. These are Fine. Male vampire button has some color rubs to eyes but is o/w VF, as is ZomBeatnik button. All are rare, especially the display card.
