Smaller variety 4.75x7.25x1.5" deep nicely illustrated, full color box contains complete set by Acme Plastics Manufacturing Co. Inc. ©1948 National Comics Publications, Inc. Box lid features classic hands-on-hips pose of Superman w/additional image of either side w/city bkg. Perforated display lid has partial punch as opposed to fully punched as typically found. Side panels feature different action illustrations in a filmstrip style. Box is complete w/original die-cut insert (featuring Superman images) holding 2.75" wide plastic filmstrip viewer and three boxed filmstrips. Box shows just lt. wear and even aging. Insert has a few tears but box is still VF overall. This is the smaller of two sets produced, but features same contents and is 100% complete. Included within are four films; three boxed and one in viewer. Each box features great full body images of Superman on all four sides. Viewer and films are NM. High grade example.
