Item Description
4.25x8.5x3" deep store display box w/die-cut display lid contains "A Whole Pack Of Gum Balls," in reality, 24 individual packs of eight gumballs that were originally sold for 5¢ a pack. Fleer Corp., 1971. This box originates from the Fleer archives and was pulled from the production line on the first day of issue, April 28, 1971, as noted in blue ink on top of box. This short-lived confection was likely available for less than a year. Box features bright colors and lid has a few loose perforations to display lid, but is not totally punched. Exc. Contents are NM to Mint as issued. Rare gum issue in general, let alone a full box.
