Item Description
Original 7x11.25x6.25" tall paper-covered box bottom contains 11" tall doll made in Spain by Spanish dollmaker Ernesto Cahn. This company made a wonderful line of Disney authorized dolls in the 1930s, exclusively for the European market. All are rare as production was low. Their only markings were string tags, and the doll's original tag is included around his wrist. Box has some lt. scattered wear and are spotting but is o/w structurally sound and Fine overall. Doll has high quality mohair body w/felt hat, shirt and hands. Fiddler Pig's nose, mouth/tongue and hoof tips are also felt. Doll has glass eyes. Wire inserts in fingers, ears and tail for posing. Doll comes w/wooden fiddle, which has loose strings and head broken off. Aside from small area of aging to tip of felt tongue, doll is in choice, Exc. condition. As nice as any vintage Three Little Pigs doll ever made.
