8.25" wide by 7.5"tall beautifully painted and glazed ceramic figurine depicts Honest John and Gideon together. c. 1940. Rarest and most impressive of the Pinocchio figurines by Brayton Laguna, it is not mentioned or shown in Disneyana Collectors Guide to California Pottery, the definitive book on the subject. Brayton produced one single figure each for Honest John and Gideon, but this large one of them together is the first we've seen or offered in our 54 years. Glossy and Exc.
