Item Description
This 5.25" tall Japanese bisque w/movable arms was made in Japan, c. 1938. Previously unknown to us and in fact we have never seen another moveable arms Dwarf bisque in this size nor have we seen a Snow White in this scale. Incised Walt Disney copyright on back. Raised "Grumpy" name across front of hat. Just the second Dwarf bisque we have seen w/movable arms at all (the other was a 7.5" tall Sneezy we sold in 2009). Figure has scattered all over paint flakes and hat shows moderate aging. Scattered dust soiling to face and hands. Fine overall. Rare and the only example of this bisque we've seen in our 54 years. A true Disneyana rarity.
