Item Description
5.25x9x5" deep box contains toy w/built-in key that has total height of 13" tall. Linemar, 1950s. Lid features illustration of Snow White w/Dwarfs dancing around her, w/roses and butterflies flying about above them. Lid is evenly aged and has 3.75" Y-shaped puncture to main panel w/creases and 3.5" side panel section is replacement. Box is VG. Toy consists of 3.25" tall tin litho flower pot w/wrap-around art depicting Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. Top has felt covering w/attached artificial flowers three separate long thin wires w/fabric butterflies on the ends. Toy works and has music box mechanism which plays a lullaby as the butterflies rapidly flutter and move about as if flying overtop the flowers. Flowers have aged and base shows just lt. wear. Base is Exc. while flowers/butterflies are VF. Superb design, one of the most interesting Linemar toys of the 1950s as well as one of the rarest. Just the second example we've offered in our 54 years.
