Item Description
1.75x5.25x20.25" illustrated cardboard box contains 18" long snorkel model #S950. Super-Swim, Inc. © National Comics Publications, Inc. c. mid-1950s. Part of an extensive line of Superman swimming gear produced at this time that included goggles, fins, snorkels and several other kits, see previous and two following lots. Snorkel is lightly aged from storage, missing rubber strap illustrated on box but is Exc. overall and appears unused. One end flap and one small inner flap detached but included. Box has scattered lt. aging/wear, lt. soiling w/price sticker on one end but remains structurally sound and displays VF. Box mentions missing 2-3/8x3.75" "Superman Safety Swim Club" membership card.
