Item Description
High quality pewter sculpture covered w/black enamel w/gold highlights mounted on a marble base for overall height of 8". Lead-filled, weights 7 pounds. Brass plaque on front of base w/"The Maltese Falcon" name and legend while back has plate bearing noted sculptor Ron Lee's facsimile signature and hand-numbered "227" edition number (from 1,250 production run). ©1991 Turner Ent. Co., produced by Warner Bros. Impressive and NM. Sculpture is the actual example shown in The Official Price Guide To Pop Culture Memorabilia by Ted Hake and comes with COA. Comes w/July 1944 Pocket Books first edition paperback of Dashiell Hammett's The Maltese Falcon. Some minor spine wear and some handling wear but still a clean, VF copy.
