Item Description
This is the first post-war Mickey Mouse watch, released in 1946. Rare as it was only produced for one year. Comes in original Kelton box w/hinged lid that has both fabric and gold foil covering and comes w/plain cardboard slipcase. Interior of box has Kelton/US Time name. Packaging is Exc. Watch has 1x1.5" 10-karat gold-plated metal case and original vinyl-covered leather band. Dial was issued in two different versions, this is variety w/Kelton name and just four numerals on watch face (also produced w/o name and all 12 numerals). Dial features separate die-cut Mickey head which is on a post and designed to rotate w/the hour hand. Watch ticks a few second and just needs a basic cleaning. NM w/bright full luster and as nice as these come. Comes w/guarantee paper and small plastic Kelton price tag and "10 K" label; the first we've seen either of these tags. One of the few boxed examples we've offered in our 54 years and by far the best condition example.
