Item Description
13-7/8x21" poster for original Belgian release of the 1939 Universal Pictures film, the third installment of the Frankenstein horror film series and the last to star Boris Karloff as Frankenstein's Monster. Classic close-up image of Basil Rathbone as Baron Wolf von Frankenstein, his head mirror reflecting both Karloff and Bela Lugosi, who played Ygor. Additional image of Karloff looms in bkg. Blank marquee at top, which has some penciling and two spots of remnants from date tag sheet. Poster shows some scattered handling wear w/two horizontal creases at center and one vertical crease. Lower right margin has some aging and bottom margin also has two spots of remnants from date tag sheet. Fine/VF overall but would look great framed.
