Item Description
Flying Aces ran for 178 issues and was published between 1928 and 1943. Offered here are nearly every club premium seen in the publication, all date to the 1930s. All feature either full club name or "FAC." The rarest piece is 3" long "Distinguished Service Medal" brass w/ribbon that has three propeller attachments. Back marked "Awarded By FAC." Next in rarity is tiny .75" "Ace" metal star badge. Other metal badges are two styles each for Cadet and Pilot, in both silver and gold. Final metal item is bracelet. Lot also includes membership card and 4.25" long fabric patch. Scattered wear/aging but mostly Fine to Exc. overall. An instant collection and a rare opportunity to obtain this much material all at once. These are the actual examples shown in "The Official Price Guide To Pop Culture Memorabilia" by Ted Hake and comes with COA.
