12.25x17" die-cut countertop standee w/easel back advertises Hal Kemp on Columbia Radio network, presented by Griffin Allwite shoe polish. 1930s. Left features image of doll wearing "Griffin Allwite" naval officer cap and holding package of polish while centers features photo portraits of bandleader/saxophonist/clarinetist Hal Kemp and vocalists Maxine Gray and Bob Allen in musical notes w/image of orchestra in bkg. Top edge of standee shows moderate wear w/chipping and partial separation of surface paper. Creases to doll's hat and leg. Lower right corner off. VG. Rare.
