Item Description
38.5x50” die-cut sign in the shape of a record with banner listing star names at bottom. c. 1940s. Star portraits are printed over top record design and include Bing Crosby, Guy Lombardo, Ted Lewis, Glen Gray, Arthur Tracy, Everett Marshall, Isham Jones, Lee Wiley, Max Rosen and Victor Young. Original record price of 35 cents is also included on sign. Sign has a vertical fold at center as produced, with two support easels on back. Right-hand side of “banner” area has creasing, but this does not greatly detract from sign’s appearance. 1” area of light scattered surface paper lift on “Decca” name on outside of record image. Bright, clean and Exc. Large and impressive display piece.
