Item Description
19x24" letterpress on thin paper w/"Bucks County Intelligencer Steam-Power Job Print, Doylestown, PA" at bottom center. Eagle perched on American shield at center clutches banner in beak w/candidates names. Faint ghosting of text from being folded and complete separation along center crease repaired on reverse w/archival tape. A 1.5" loss at center right edge, loss to top left corner and edge wear inc. chips of missing paper and scattered short tears. VG. A charming example w/the "U" in "Arthur" upside down illustrating the haste in printing and the truly ephemeral nature of these scarce campaign posters. This rare survivor will frame beautifully.
