6x25.5x4.25" deep illustrated cardboard box w/art/photo illustrated box label contains complete parts for unused Mattel toy, ©1979Universal City Studios, Inc. Box is complete w/die-cut cardboard insert w/parts for launch platform. Box shows some lt. scattered corner tip/edge wear and some creases to opened end flap. VF. Mattel produced a number of VertiBird sets, this being released in conjunction w/the 1978-1979 Battlestar Galactica TV series. Similar in design to other VertiBird sets, this differs in that instead of helicopter body, VertiBird is Colonial Viper spaceship w/propeller on top and set comes w/Recon Vehicle, Space Probe Base and Tower, w/majority of parts remaining on sprues. Instruction folder has lt. even aging and shows some lt. wear. Sticker sheets show wear as folded within box, but remain unused. Untested, but battery box remains clean. Parts are Fine to NM overall.
