Item Description
3-3/8" litho button w/stickers affixed at center. Several varieties of these badges are known to have been produced during the 1960 DNC Los Angeles, CA convention. This example has two stickers affixed in the white band at center, one on top the other. The first reads "Draft Stevenson" which just shows through in the background of the second top sticker that reads "Win With Kennedy." Stevenson made a last ditch effort to capture his third nomination but came up short making this a fascinating and likely unique 'changing of the guard' artifact from the fateful 1960 DNC. Both stickers have come slightly loose at lower right but otherwise remain properly affixed. Overall VF.
