Item Description
8.25" long. 2.75" wide cello hanger at top suspending a 3.5" portrait button w/ribbons are attached under the cardboard back. Kelly, the noted rowing gold medalist, construction magnate and 1935 Philly Mayoral candidate, served as the Philadelphia Democratic Party Chairman in 1937 and was appointed as the National Physical Fitness Director by FDR in 1941. Ribbons have light handling and age. Cello has only light surface wear. Overall Exc. Only the second example we've seen of this striking badge in our 54 years. Ron Koot Collection.
