Item Description
2-1/8"naming maker W&H, with pinpoint silvering loss but 98% intact. c. 1905 from a Philadelphia business named Standard Identification System, Inc. located in the Drexel Building. Slogan at mirror top reads "Will Never Fail You In Time Of Need." Scene of accident aftermath with "Officer" supporting victim bleeding from his head while "Doctor" inspects victim's Standard Identification Card (pledging "We Will Take Good Care Of Him")  and doctor's assistant rushes from horse drawn ambulance carrying a rolled stretcher. What mishap befell victim is not shown but scene is accented by his overturned hat at far left and his briefcase at far right. A superb advertising pocket mirror rarity. One known. Glossy, NM.
