Item Description
11x17.25" Marvel Comics artboard features pen and ink original art by Todd Foxx, inked by Fred Fredericks for Punisher War Journal #49, published by Marvel Dec. 1992. Page 1 title page features three panels, showing Punisher walking away from van in empty mall parking lot to meet informant as Payback (an anti-Punisher vigilante who wears a costume similar to The Punisher's just w/the skull crossed out) sets his sniper rifle sights on him. Punisher is seen in all panels (as a small outline in third). Top margin has stamped title and inked issue/page numbers. Top of artboard also has Punisher War Journal intro stat paste-over w/publishing indicia stat paste-over at bottom. Artboard has some lt. corner tip wear and scattered dust soiling but overall art remains clean and Exc.
