Item Description
11x16-3/8" artboard features pen and ink original art by Howard Bender, inked by Fred Fredericks for SilverHawks #6, published by Marvel June 1988. Based on the popular SilverHawks cartoon series, page 22 features five panels, showing Copper Kidd sending distress code to Federal Interplanetary Force I Headquarters from Hawkhaven. Copper Kidd is only seen in first panel. Last panel shows Commander Stargazer, Fastback and Hotwing on viewscreen. Top margin has handwritten title and issue/page numbers. Scattered editorial notations in margins. Fourth panel has dialog replaced w/stat paste-over. Back has Marvel copyright stamp. Top margin has uneven trim, not affecting art in any way. Lower right corner has been clipped and has pin hole. Art remains clean and Exc.
