Item Description
1.75" with W&H back paper. Reads in full "Thirteenth Annual Reunion/Ex-Confederate Veterans/Nocona, Texas  Aug. 14-15-16, 1901." Wonderful color scene of campground before purple mountain peaks showing many soldiers plus Confederate flag. Perimeter accented by 25 bursting bombshells. A few pinpoint age dots on extreme rim edge but very trivial and barely visible.  Glossy and Exc. We know of two with this being the example photographed for the book (pg. 175) Button Power by Carter/Hake. Comes w/Hake's COA. See next lot for 1902 UVC button featuring Robert E. Lee.
