Item Description
16-7/8x21-7/8" on uncoated index card stock. Promoting two concerts on "November 11 & 12" w/opening act "Tony Williams" Lifetime. Art by Eric Engstrom features an image of guitarist Pete Townsend in a mid-air leap. Listed in the Art of Rock (AOR) as plate 3.172. A single pin hole in each corner, light handling at top left, minor edge wear and faint even age. Fine. Touring in support of their iconic rock opera, Tommy, the influential British band stopped off for two nights of gigs at Boston's famed rock club. Of the few surviving examples most have extensive wear especially along the edges where the solid black ink is prone to show even minute issues. This example is much above average and will frame to Exc. Bold design, good size and from a historic era for the band- if you have one Who poster in your collection this is an ideal choice.
