Item Description
11x16.5" artboard features pen and ink original art by Mark Texeira, inked by Joe Del Beato for Sectaurs #2, published by Marvel Aug. 1985. Art is for page 25 and features five panels, showing Prince Dargon, Mantys and Pinsor scaring off Spidrax, who attacks on Spider-Flyer only to be deflected by Pinsor's Battle Beetle. Marvel copyright inkstamp on back. Fourth panel has been cut out and replaced w/new original art. Dialogue balloons are hand-lettered paste-overs. First and third panels are missing these. Top of second panel is missing one dialogue balloon and bottom center of fourth panel is missing one balloon. Artboard has glue staining at these areas. Top margin has inked title and issue/page numbers along w/inked artists' names. Bottom margin has been signed in black felt tip pen by Del Beato. Scattered blue pencil editorial notations in margins. Top margin has uneven trim and right corner clipped while both bottom corners have been clipped (not affecting art). VG/Fine overall.
