Extensive lot of 93, typically 1.5x4.5" matchbook covers with various artists and advertisers. c. 1940s. Artists include: Petty, Elvgren, Moran, T.N. Thompson, DeVorss as well as several unsigned, a few generic and two photo covers. Two packs still have full matches. Duplicate images are included. Varying degrees of wear, soiling and aging. Also included in this lot are two Earl Moran images of Marilyn Monroe, each marked "Maid In Baltimore." Fine to Exc.
